President Donald Trump trolled Rep. Maxine Waters on Wednesday by wishing her a happy 80th birthday in the most Trump way possible.
Happy Birthday to the leader of the Democrat Party, Maxine Waters!

On the surface, Trump’s tweet may not seem like much. But once dissected, he’s not only taking a shot at Rep. Nancy Pelosi, he’s using Waters — and her many, many controversial comments — to help energize Republicans to vote in November’s midterms.
The two leaders of the Democratic Party are House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, but many argue Pelosi is the leader of the party.
By calling Waters the “leader of the Democratic Party,” he’s trolling Pelosi and Schumer as no longer being the face of the leadership. He’s essentially poking fun at them for losing control of their own party by allowing someone as controversial as Waters to become their leader.
Secondly, by referring to Waters as the Democrats leader, he’s showing voters what the two choices are for the important midterm elections in less than 85 days. They can choose the GOP — who are responsible for securing the border, lowering taxes, creating more than six million jobs, defeating ISIS, and has the economy booming — or they can choose Democrats — who are led by Waters, a woman who has called for public confrontations, wants to undo everything Trump has accomplished, and demands the president be impeached despite having no reason to do so.
Trump’s tweet trolling Waters also comes after the California Democrat has had a slew of embarrassing gaffes in the media, particularity with her comments about the president.
On Sunday, she bizarrely claimed Trump has made white people afraid of her and then insulted him at least six times with nasty comments. She called Trump a liar, con man, deplorable, divisive, dangerous, and a hypocrite.
Prior to that, she claimed she was “sent by God” on a mission to get Trumpand hold him accountable for his actions.
Last month, she told a group of supporters at a California event to confront and harass Trump Cabinet officials when they are in public.
Her calls for violence resulted in pro-Trump Florida Republican Attorney General Pam Bondi being spit on and harassed by liberals, a mob of deranged liberals swarmed the home of DHS Secretary Kristjen Nielsen, and White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was forced to get a Secret Service unit.
In a month, Waters has gone from repeatedly urging people to be “forceful” and “confrontational” with Trump officials to claiming that she is on a mission from God to harass the president and anyone who supports him. Her comments would never be tolerated by the media if she were a Republican lawmaker.
With all of that in mind, Trump is trying to show people that Waters is now the leader of the Democratic Party, and that if Democrats retake the House, she will be calling all of the shots. That should provide more than enough encouragement to voters to get to the polls on election night.
